This is a decent place to stay for a night or two. The taxi cost $35 USD from the airport but it’s best to ask the taxi line operator for a rate slip prior to getting in the cab or they might try to charge whatever they want.
We were leaving for a cruise the next day and needed somewhere affordable and clean for a short stay.
The property is small and very basic (no bells and whistles) but it did have a nice pool area and it is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was okay - again very basic but good for a short stay. It was clean, had a fridge, microwave, balcony, good water pressure, ample space and a variety of TV channels.
The bed was rock hard and quite uncomfortable but at least there is AC.
It is a 2 minute walk to Irie Foods - a great Jamaican restaurant with tasty food and there is a small convenience store nearby selling drinks, snacks, toiletries etc (but it is rather expensive).
Overall the hotel was okay - served its purpose for the night.
