The check-in process was unpleasant, as was the room. The stated check in time was 3 PM and I received a call at 2:30 asking if I was going to check in. I was in the middle of an appt., yet felt I had to take the call. Upon arrival, the same person who called me was at the front desk. I had my receipt from June, complete with my debit card payment, and the front desk person told me I never paid. He called someone and was apparently told to get my money. I asked him to sign the receipt, list his name, and all he did was print a receipt for my cash payment. He told me to take it up with Expedia. He was not courteous and never even said thank you.
The room: the baseboard near the frig was brown and dirty, there was no water pressure in the shower, and worst of all we noticed flying bugs on the pillows. Disgusting & unhealthy. The heater was noisy all night long and the room above us sounded like they were stomping around.
