Review for Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria
I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Alexandria, and its location is unbeatable. The hotel is right next to the trolley that takes you all the way down King Street to the waterfront, where you can catch the water taxi to Washington, D.C. The Metro and buses are just across the street, only about a one-minute walk, making it incredibly easy to get around without a car.
The surrounding area is also convenient, with plenty of restaurants and pharmacies nearby. As for the hotel itself, it’s good but could use some updates. We had an issue with the sofa bed—it was very old and uncomfortable. However, the staff was excellent; as soon as we informed the front desk, they promptly sent someone to fix the issue.
Parking is an extra daily charge, but once you park, you likely won’t need your car again since everything is so accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall experience.
In summary, while the hotel could use some upgrades, the location and service make it a great choice for anyone visiting Alexandria or Washington, D.C.
