The Queen Mary is like no other destination in the world. It is a 90 yr old ocean liner converted into a hotel. All the hotel rooms were former first-class cabins on a ship that traversed the Atlantic.
The rooms have beautiful wood paneling, beds are nice, most have portholes that open. These rooms haven’t been remodeled in decades, and if you take that into account, they’re holding up nicely. Expect some rough edges, particularly in the bathrooms. And the walls are thin. But if you keep in mind that you’re staying in a living historical monument, it’s an incredible experience!
