Budget friendly, spacious and clean!
This is a budget friendly hotel that perfectly suited what our family needed. Although the hotel is dated, it's in decent working condition and was clean. We got the suite room that fits 6 people, and we were delighted with the size of the room and floor space in there. It's very rare to have a room that sleeps 6, and still has space to walk around the beds!
I will say, though that the couch bed that was advertised to have 2 people sleep on it was quite narrow - I think it was a full size mattress - if that. My teen boys are big and like a little more space, so one of my kids just slept on the floor rather that squeezing onto the couch bed. It wasn't a problem for us because my son doesn't like sharing a bed anyway, so we came prepared with a pad for him to sleep on the floor - and luckily there was tons of floor space. Buuut...if you are a family of 6, just be aware that it's going to be a squeeze on that couch bed.
The owner (manager?) of the hotel who was there when we checked in was super friendly and accommodated our needs.
Overall, we were happy with our stay there and will definitely stay there again on our future trips to Durango!
