Weekend Warriors Beware
I was excited to bring my girlfriend to San Diego for her first time & wanted it to be special for her. We arrived and unloaded our things to check in, only to find out we were being sent to a different building a few miles down the road. They still checked us in and said we could pay an extra $30 a night to stay at that property. (Which was the property in the hotels.com pictures) i declined and we loaded the car back up and drove to the other location.
Upon arrival, we notciced the building was ran down and again, was the property in the pictures. The room was clean & did have a view of a bay and airport. First thing we noticed was there wasn't a walk-in shower or a keurig. (I called a few days before to make sure our room would have both)
Saturday we got back to the room to find out the refrigerator and tv were not working. Everything in the fridge was how & needed to be thrown away. They sent maintenance and they ran an extension cord and power strip. (Total ghetto)
I will say everyone we encountered was nice. Until i responded to the hotels message, "how was your stay and please rate us." I explained everything and was told it was not their responsibility and it was on hotels.com for posting the pictures on the site. These 2 properties should be listed and 2 different places.
We made the best of it, but was highly disappointed in the quality of a Sheraton property.
I about forgot to add that its $50 a night to park. This should be added when looking at rooms
