Great Ubication. Very good service attendance for Check In & Check Out. Very good Front Desk personal. Room a little small. Very noise from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. if you are in the 4th floor, because the restaurant is in the 5th floor. Mattress very soft & uncomfortable. Suggest a remodulation for better guest comfort

Location is amazing, close to everything you could want. The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean, but the property is showing image and a lot of wear and tear. Wallpaper starting to peel, carpet in the hallways is old and dingy, halls need repainting, trim and furniture is dented and showing damage. In fact, one of the electrical outlets in the hallway showed burn marks from an electrical short (?)… Book and stay for the amazing location. Also, there is no vehicle access in the area (nice for walking), but keep this in mind - you’ll need to walk 1-2 blocks with your suitcases to the hotel and to a taxi when you leave.

This isn’t really a hotel. It felt more like an apartment building with a small front desk. The hallways are dirty with black marks on the walls and dents. The baseboards on the hallways are broken. The room itself was fine though the shower didn’t drain and I was standing in inches of water before it drained properly. The toilet flush button was broken and the shower is from the 70’s. The bed was good and it was quiet so we were able to sleep. The reception staff seemed like we were interrupting them when we came into the area and I heard them talking poorly about another client because they weren’t able to open the front door with the access key. She literally rolled her eyes. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told I had to wait til Monday morning. The staff can’t make any executive decisions themselves and weren’t willing to contact the manager on the weekend. Odd to have no manger on call. Overall we loved Madrid but this hotel/hostel was definitely not worth the money we paid compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at throughout our travels.
