Not sure why this place is above 8stars
Pros: the hotel is beautiful, most of the staff is great and some of them were even amazing, just 1 rude guy in the restaurant. It was a good deal money wise for the rating/location. It’s in mismaloya close to the zoo & El Eden. They have a doctor 24/7 in house (not sure if thats so good though, coincidentally he’s the one we had to go see for my son’s food poisoning).
Cons: NOT family friendly. There’s mostly older people. The shallow bigger pool is an adults only pool & the smaller deeper pool with the bar in it, is the “family” pool. When we got there multiple guests told us they’d gotten sick, one of them said to stay away from the club sandwich, which we did, but my son ended up getting pretty sick with vomiting, nausea and diarrhea. There were blood stains on a corner of our sheets. Poor food options. You can’t swim out into the ocean because there’s a line of boats that you can’t swim past.
Overall, go here if you’re an older person looking for a quiet place and are healthy enough to get through a bad case of food poisoning.
