Valet is confusing, you have to carry your luggage up a hill and 14 steps in order to get a luggage cart, front desk is rude, rooms are dirty, beds have no mattress cover, with mold and dried urine all over the mattress. Obviously known to them because the bottom was worse, as if it was just turned over. One toilet paper left in room with no access to more or to towels. There is no maid service although the ad does say so. There is no tiki bar in the sense you would believe. It is a concrete building with garage doors that closes on Sunday at 5 PM and did not open on Tuesday at all. There are no chairs in the pool area. There are huge rust stains in the pool and the surrounding partitions. They leave a coffee maker in the room but no coffee, not even one slip. They warn you not to leave the balcony door open because the a/c will condensate. We were not in the room much but we always kept the door closed and the a/c was leaking the whole time. We had to place one of the precious towels on the floor and almost slipped more than once. I am 61-years-old and in the last 20 years I have traveled a lot. I have never, ever had a worse experience, when I was supposed to be on vacation. If you rent through any source other than their hotel site, there is no early check in. Why, don't we pay too? Their lack of hospitality shows in that I called hotels.com to tell them my situation and they left a voicemail for the hotel, since they didn't answer the phone or have responded
