Room 240 is right above housekeeping laundry room.
We checked in shortly after 3 pm after a long drive for a concert that evening so we could take a nap and have an early dinner. Unfortunately, our room was right above the housekeeping laundry room with three noisy industrial sized dryer ducts just outside the window next to the bed. In addition, the laundry room had staff going in and out constantly so the thud of the door could be felt.
The front desk said they could not move us because of the type of room that we were in. I reserved a king bed room and somehow got assigned an accessible king bed room. In hindsight, I worry if I corrected them on the room type, they could have moved us.
After a late night at the concert we went to sleep intending to sleep in but the dryer vents fired up again before 7 am.
The assistant general manager said that the laundry is supposed to be running only 9-5 but obviously, it wasn't.
In any case, my hope is that Hilton will see this and address this room (240) and make it better for future guests.
Maybe if a guest checks in after 6 pm and wakes up by 6:30 am they would never know about this issue but that was not the case with our visit.
