The Hilton did not have our reservation. There was no confirmation or record of it from Hotels.com.
Extremely serious problem. Fortunately, they had a room available, but if they had not, and we had had to travel late at night, when we arrived, I would’ve been furious.
I talked with a Hotels.com agent and he basically said something went wrong. There was no way for him to confirm or check what happened. Now, every time I make a reservation on Hotels.com I’m going to have to call the facility and see if we actually exist in their records.
He gave me a financial remuneration, but that does not solve the problem.
