The Perry hotel in Key west was the nicest hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in hands down. From the moment you walk in you can tell how clean the hotel was, it smelled fresh, the lobby was beautiful. We got to our room and the crib for our infant was already up there waiting. We were in a saltwater studio so we had a spacious walk in shower and a beautiful view of the pool, marina, and outside bar from our patio. The room was immaculate, smelled wonderful, the bed was comfortable, the sheets crisp. Housekeeping did a wonderful job every morning turning down our room. The food at the restaurant in the hotel (Matt’s) was delicious. The swordfish Rockefeller was out of this world. A little secret is you have to try the key lime colada from the outdoor bar, it’s to die for. The pool was warm but refreshing and my son loved the ledge in the pool so he could stand and play in the water. Met some really cool people, one couple has been coming to the Perry for 6 straight years and I can’t blame them. The vibe and atmosphere there is great. The concierge ( I can’t remember his name, maybe Johnny) was awesome and got us hooked up with a golf cart so we could travel the keys. It was only a 15 minute drive into downtown key west from the hotel so it was a great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown key west at night but also super quick and easy to get there for all the activities during the day.
