Mal Bali Galeria is a shopping mall right next to the Simpang Dewaruci statue/roundabout in Kuta. The mall presents a family shopping and entertainment concept – often promoting itself as a place to ‘enjoy, play, eat, and shop’. Various tenants, outlets and scheduled events make it a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Besides shopping and dining, Mal Bali Galeria also offers a curated calendar of events. These happenings mostly take place in the mall's spacious central atrium called 'the dome’ or alongside its multifunctional and open-air food court.

Highlights of Mal Bali Galeria's shopping complex

As you approach the corner of the landmark Kuta roundabout, Mal Bali Galeria’s most prominent building that comes to view is that of the Duty-Free Shopping (DFS) Galleria Bali. This is separate from the mall's main building but is a major shopping destination on its own.

DFS Galleria Bali is part of the DFS Group Limited, the world's leading luxury retailer catering to the travelling public. You can find various international luxury items here, ranging from women’s fashion, beauty, skincare and fragrances to men’s watches, premium leather goods, and a range of liquors.

Brands at DFS Galleria include Dunhill, Bulgari, Cartier, Calvin Klein, TAG Heuer, Givenchy, Versace, Hermes and Kenzo. You can also find local quality handcrafted products available here.

East of DFS is the Galeria 21 Cineplex, which screens the latest international blockbuster titles on its 2 big screens. The larger main building it is attached to is where you'll find the mall and most of its dining, shopping and entertainment features.

Inside Mal Bali Galeria

Inside the mall’s main building, you’ll find various separate stores and a mix of outlets. The Matahari Bali Galeria department store offers a range of fashion products at local prices, while the Hypermart is a supermarket stocking daily groceries and necessities. ACE Hardware largely occupies the west end of this building and offers imported home improvement products.

Throughout the mall and around the atrium you’ll find tenants that range from restaurants to stores that feature branded sportswear, electronics and eyewear. Among them are L'Occitane, The Body Shop, Ryoshi, Kafe Betawi, Es Teller 77, Kidz Station, J.Co Donuts, King Koil, Vinoti Living and many more. On the 2nd floor above the main ‘dome’, you’ll find a branch of the leading national Gramedia bookstore chain.

Good to know about Mal Bali Galeria

There are 2 entrances and exits to the Mal Bali Galeria. One is just past the DFS Galleria building and another to the north of the parking area that leads to Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai. The mall’s main building has entrances at all of its 4 sides. There’s a money changer booth nearby the ACE Hardware store at the mall’s western side.

Transport services are available at the main lobby. An information desk is near the entrance to the atrium right after the drop-off area. The pickup zone is at the main lobby ground floor exit.

Balinese architecture blends neatly within the modern mall’s stylings, and a fine lawn with mini gardens and benches add to the cosy shopping atmosphere. To further unwind, professional salon services are available such as Johny Andrean and Yopie Salon, among others.
