This may be obvious to US clients, but for international travelers passing through Miami airport it is easy to mistake this for an airport hotel. I did, and the free airport shuttle “currently out of service” cost me an extra 50 dollars to Uber. I tried using this as a bargaining point for keeping the room until 4 PM, but only got one extra hour (11 to 12 AM).
The “suite” itself was clean, spacious and nice enough, if a little dated. Comfortable bed. The “simple breakfast” was simple indeed, and since all tables were taken, I skipped it — except for coffee, which I poured out after the first sip.
I have stayed at several Wyndham/La Quinta hotels. This however, is a simple motel for people traveling by road. There are many better, similarly priced hotels if you need somewhere to stay near MIA airport.
