Was ok but should be better for the price
Check in was lacking. They were polite but, they said our room wasnt ready yet and they would call me. I sat there for 1 hour then asked. They apologized and said it was ready. Ugh. Then next morning they were trying to come in our room 2 hours before checkout and we had not checked out. Bathroom had a ton of rust in shower.

Great location but not sound proof
Hotel is in a great location for getting around New Orleans, everywhere is walkable and it’s a lively place. Downside is the hotel isn’t very sound proof, you could hear all coming and going in our room and as you would expect in Mew Orleans people are moving around at every hour! The décor in our room was a little worn out with damp patches in the ceiling but the housekeeping was excellent, couldn’t fault them.

Great hotel!
We came in for the weekend for the football game and the hotel was perfect for us. We were close enough to Caesars Superdome, the French Quarter and Caesars Casino to walk. It was super easy to check in and out and all the staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

NO hot water.
The room was great, clean and comfortable. However, when I checked in was told there was no hot water. This continued for the entire day. Was difficult because I was there for a wedding that evening and could not take a shower because of no hot water. My son and his wife stayed there too, and they were given points for the problem however I was offered nothing.

It’s ok
I was in town for a wedding and stayed at the Doubletree. The hotel is in a pretty good location but once you get past the lobby it shows its age. Everything looks old and dated. The key cards stopped working all of a sudden as did the digital key, which was frustrating. It’s a decent hotel but definitely not 4 star as it said on the app.

Disappointing Doubletree
Unfortunately, we were actually disappointed in this Doubletree. Our checkout was delayed till after the normal 4 PM check in time we had requested a high floor with a view and we basically got a room with a view of a building out our window. From an angle, you could see the bridge, which was nice. Our particular room was very tired. The furniture had broken handles. The bedding was not comfortable. It did not feel clean. We were constantly having to request cups, coffee, and sugar as Housekeeping did not remember to leave those items when they cleaned.
