I was disappointed with this hotel. They had an issue with their key cards. This meant multiple trips down to reception, waiting for them to redo the cards then they wouldn’t work again and we’d continue the cycle. I think 8 or 9 times we had to go through this frustrating process. Sometimes they’d work in the elevator then not work for the room, meaning we were up to the 4th floor then back down. It made us late for dinner reservations and cost us money as we had to Uber instead of walking. These things happen but there was zero compensation (no free drink, breakfast, parking, late checkout). Nothing, and for the price paid really frustrating. The room wasn’t cleaned properly with pencil shavings next to the bed, dirt on the rug and hairs in the shower. The corridors were dark and smelled. The cleaning staff were rude and the reception staff were not equipped to deal with the key card issue properly.
