Great place to stay and feel welcomed
This check-in was so very easy. Evan was very accommodating and offering to do anything necessary for me. He wanted to make sure I had a pleasant stay. I felt welcome and safe at the hotel.

Quick overnight
The layout of this particular Hyatt chain Is always tricky with the bath area. Way too small but function. The shower needs a good deep cleaning however we had a shower mat. Other than that it was clean.

Nice comfortable king mattress, large suite like room, variety of hot and cold breakfast items, selection of drinks in the evening from the bar, friendly staff, convenient location for the zoo and mega cavern. Would stay here again.

Bathroom leaves a LOT to be desired.
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was AWFUL. No fan, barely enough room to turn around between the toilet and shower. Very dim and outdated light in the bathroom. The sink (located outside the bathroom) had very little water pressure. No privacy. We were with our children but there was not enough room to change clothes in the bathroom at all. There was an odd smell in the room and the hvac unit was screwed to the wall and plugged in, not a hardwired unit, which was strange as well. Maybe would stay here again when we come for naile but only if we get a good deal from a third party booking site.

Parking nickel and dime.
I was unaware that the property charges $10 a night for outdoor open lot parking until we arrived. When I ask the front desk about a validation for guests, she was quite smug about "your a third party booking, you don't qualify"

Could be cleaner.
I’ve stayed at Hyatt hotels before but they were all cleaner than this. Weird stains on the mini refrigerator door, doors scratched and damaged, wallpaper starting to peel in certain areas in the hallway, tiles damaged in the shower, and random hairs on the pillows.

Enjoyed our time!
The room had a great living room and workspace area, close to shops and near the highway. My son enjoyed his time in the pool and the pet fees were very reasonable (we travelled with an XL dog) & room was spacious.

Let me start off by saying, Evan the assistant manger is a total jerk. The other staff that work under him were wonderful. The one star rating is for YOU EVAN. Don’t be so rude to your guests and then go in the back and talk about them like I can’t hear you!!!!!!! There was blood on my pillow and shower curtain. The breakfast literally was watery eggs. They were charging people $200 a night to stay in something that I could have cleaned better if I would have just took 3 minutes. Like I said Katelyn, I think the other guys name is Zach, Casey and another woman with the name starting with an M were great but good god, I feel bad for that staff having to work for such a rude person like Evan. Evan. You are the reason for the bad stay. You are the reason why we left and you are the reason we won’t be back. To top it off, I left a message for the GM and never received a message back. DO BETTER MANAGEMENT. Your staff is really trying to hold it together for you but there’s not much they can do when management doesn’t give a SH**
