Balcony/patio was a creepy door that was completely stuck shut, we couldn’t open.
We paid for a week in full upon arrival apx $722Upon entering room it was dark with 1 of the only 3 lamps having a light bulb out.
Heater would not turn off at night based on setting, I’m unsure if it was broken or that old. The 1 night we stayed was miserable because of this. It was too cold of a night to be able to turn it off it was around 25 degrees that night. I woke up with chest congestion and went to make coffee only to find the smallest, saddest, filthy coffee maker that I wouldn’t expect anyone to use.
We gathered ourselves best we could and went to the desk to request a refund for the remainder of our stay so we could go elsewhere explaining that the air conditioning wouldn’t allow us to stay there another night. I was immediately denied a refund. Fortunately we had enough money to go elsewhere so we did. Thinking we would speak to a reasonable and decent manager at the beginning of the week.
We ultimately had to leave our trip one day early because we both developed a chest cold from that 1st night with the insane heater. I am retired military and a disabled vet who would never ask for anything for free I only asked to be refunded services not rendered
A week later I spoke with the manager of the Red Roof in Pigeon Forge. She told me ownership will not refund under any circumstances.Dare I tell you why. Worst representative of Red Roof possible.
