We recently stayed at Amara Cay and had a decent experience. The location was beautiful, and the staff was friendly.
However, our 'partial ocean view' room didn't quite meet expectations. The direct view from our balcony was of the HVAC units, and to see the ocean, we had to turn sideways and look around the corner. This wasn't the ocean view we anticipated.
We brought our concerns to the front desk, but unfortunately, they didn't follow up or offer any accommodations. It felt like our issue was noted but not prioritized.
The lack of effort to address our concerns left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay. Amara Cay has potential, but attention to customer feedback would elevate their service.
