We’ve stayed at Solara Inn and Suites seven times over the years. It’s always been our go-to for value and location near Disneyland, and we've usually had a great experience. Unfortunately, our most recent stay (July 3–5, 2025) fell short.
The room wasn’t particularly clean, which was a first for us here. The shower had terrible water pressure, and the tub backed up during our entire stay. To top it off, one morning there was no hot water at all—definitely not what we’ve come to expect.
Our room also didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave—amenities we’ve always had in the past without needing to request them. This time we didn’t think to ask, assuming they were standard. That made our stay a bit less convenient, especially after long days at the parks.
That said, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. They’ve always been great, and that hasn’t changed.
We’re hoping this was just an off stay and not the new norm. Solara has been our reliable, affordable choice in Anaheim for years, and we’d love to return to the kind of experience that made us loyal guests in the first place.
