Great place
Our son coaches at Hiram College so we came up to see him and a game. Great atmosphere, less than 15 minutes to Hiram College, very clean will definitely be back!

4/10 Fair

Our room was falling apart… the rail under the sink was just set in holes in the wall our toddler could pull out. There is no vent in the bathroom and a barn style door. After showering it’s muggy all day in the room. My wife tried using the shampoo in the shower… it was body wash. Ceiling is starting to sag where the curtains are hung. We booked a deluxe room and nothing about it was deluxe. No microwave in the room either. There is a decorative piece on the bed head board that is supposed to screw in… doesn’t screw anymore so another issue with a toddler. Overall really poor quality room. Baseboards were really scuffed and dirty which makes me wonder about the true cleanliness of the room… Staff is nice but the room was really disappointing and not “deluxe” at all.

Excellent. Well maintained. Bathroom small but what can you expect from 1927. Property fits in with neighborhood. Not one of those commercial hotels.

6/10 Good

Unique, quaint, historical inn from the 1800s which was remodeled and very clean. However, the mattress was not comfortable for our 58 & 58 year old bodies. There is a "damp" smell that I think was from it being a very very old building. It was tolerable yet noticesble. Wasnt worth over $500.00 for 2 nights but I had no choice as my daughters wedding was just diwn the street andtwins day was the same weekend in Twinsburg Ohio so hotels were sold out. The staff was amazing!

6/10 Good

Just the basics with a nice lobby. Told we were on the second floor, went up and followed the signs to our room from the second floor down a flight, down a first floor hall, down a flight into the basement then up another 1/2 flight of stairs! Theres no elevator so be aware of that. Also, no microwave on the property. So a motel 6 with a nice lobby.

Definitely would stay again
Staff was very nice. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very cute town and wish we could've explored more. We wanted to eat in their tavern but didn't get back in time from our event. Location is about 35min from downtown Cleveland.

6/10 Good

Disappointed
It’s not what we expected of an inn. The AC window unit was loud and interrupted our sleep. Fire alarm went off and no one came down to hallway to alert that it was a false alarm. We walked to lobby and that’s when we found out. Bedroom ceiling has multiple stains and looks dirty. Pool is enclosed and the chlorine smell was extremely overwhelming that we were afraid to even go in. Staff provided good service.

Decent experience
We arrived early and inquired about checking in, told $50 fee so we decided to not check in. When returned after check-in time I was told we had to be placed in the pet wing due to maintenance issue with the room we originally booked. I wasn’t happy but I knew very limited in other options at that point. Room was decent. Probably the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen and had musty animal smell. Pool area was fine but not at all as nice as it looks in picture. When I asked if a lot of people with pets were in the pet wing the attendant said no and that many people book that area even when they have no pets because it’s the cheaper option, however I wasn’t offered a lower price for having to be moved to that area. Overall it was fine and I would stay again if other places were not available. Very Friendly Staff!

Lovely inn in a quaint setting with nice grounds. Everything was very clean. Although we didn't have time to use the pool, it was large and looked very nice. Would have liked if there was breakfast available, perhaps a continental breakfast.
