Disappointed in a Hampton Inn for the first time. (I am not a complainer, but want to make sure to leave this feedback.) The good: The bed was comfortable and the noise level was low; my wife and I both slept really well. The lobby and breakfast area was decorated nicely and clean, and the breakfast food was appetizing enough. The bad: Other than the lobby and breakfast area, the whole place looked rather beat up. Is this actually a Hampton Inn, part of the Hilton hotel network? There is so much that needs overhauling and renovation. Elevators, carpeting throughout the hallways, the rooms, etc. As for the room, it's dissappointing to have a cool air blower instead of an air conditioner. The place felt damp the entire time we were there, the air, the bed, the carpet, everything had a dampness. The tub is the type meant for only sitting in, not standing in, as the bottom is curved; it's very dangerous to try standing in it, to be honest. The sink was clogged and drained very slowly. We informed the front desk clerk, but when we returned to the room many hours later, the sink was the same. This condition is not at all what we have come to expect from Hampton Inns. I also don't understand the hotel information stating that there is a $22 daily parking fee. For what? I haven't seen yet if we were charged this fee, but if so, it's entirely inappropriate, merely an increase to the room cost without advertising it as such. Never staying at this Hampton again.
