We have stayed here several times over the years. It is very convenient to the doctor.
However, this time, we arrived around 5:50 PM, having been stuck in Houston traffic for over an hour. This was after the 6 hour drive from home.
We were informed that the elevator was out of service, and that our room was on the 3rd floor,
Recovering from surgery, this was difficult. The room was prepaid, and we felt there was no time to search for another hotel.
We feel that the hotel should have notified us of this, and offered a refund in time to find an alternative.
We will not stay there again. It is a real loss, since the rooms are very nice, quiet, and the beds comfortable. The staff has always been nice and friendly. The desk clerk this time offered to carry our baggage upstairs.
We are really sorry to have to find another place to stay.
