The hotel offers a stunning ocean view, perfect for a winter stay. The rooms are warm, and you can sleep with the windows open, listening to the sound of the ocean. The room also has a pleasant scent, adding to the comfort.
Upon check-in, I noticed the body lotion bottle was more than half empty, indicating it had been used by previous guests. The lotion has a great texture, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin smooth — a 10 out of 10.
The water switch from the tap to the shower was broken, and its handle was detached. Despite multiple attempts, it couldn’t be fixed properly, making it difficult to use the shower. Once I turned it on, I had to leave the water running throughout, increasing consumption despite a sign encouraging water-saving.
There was also a broken door stopper near the luggage table, with an exposed sharp pin. I tore my slipper on it, and it could be dangerous if someone steps on it.
Breakfast was delicious. Special mention to the chef for the small Portuguese potato pancakes — the best I’ve had! Some dishes were quite salty, which may concern older guests during a longer stay.
I must also mention the exceptional prune dessert — I’ll definitely return for it, along with the potato pancakes.
Despite these issues, I had a great stay and would return for the views and atmosphere.
