Our experience was disappointing. There were two large dumpsters outside, and one of the two elevators was out of order. To make matters worse, the functioning elevator was quite far from the front desk, adding to the inconvenience. The parking garage also felt unsafe; the gates opened so quickly that it appeared a car had already damaged the entrance, likely due to the speed of the gate.
We had to park on the second level of the garage, then walk inside to the elevator, which took us up to the third floor. In the morning, we had to use the same working elevator just to get coffee downstairs because the in-room coffee maker appeared dirty and lacked supplies.
Although the staff were friendly, they seemed unfamiliar with the area and couldn’t offer suggestions on where to eat or how to get around. The room itself had torn and visibly dirty carpet, which was off-putting, though the bed was comfortable, and the room was otherwise decent.
However, I feel that guests should be informed ahead of time if there's ongoing construction, remodeling, or if one of the elevators is out of service. It felt misleading, and had I known, I would have booked at the Hyatt Place, which I mistakenly thought I had chosen. Overall, I’m quite dissatisfied with my stay.
