With its excellent location near Queen Square bus station and Liverpool Lime Street station, Delta Hotels is an ideal location for attractions within the city centre of Liverpool.
The rooms themselves have an old-school vibe to them, with a good effort to update them with internet-abled TVs (if they get a good signal, which is.) Housekeeping is consistent, although they seemed to not pay attention to what marks or stains are under the bed sheets, and do not like replacing bars of soap or shampoo if required.
The bar is nice, although the staffing seems a bit inconsistent on what type of service you want to get. They might be happy with serving you at the bar, and some want you to go to a table (preferably outside in sunny weather) and order from there. The reception staff are nice and can tackle any issues with great ease and professionalism.
Their breakfast service seems very pricey in contrast with the nearby cafes providing more reasonable and varied meals. Whilst the quality you get is reasonable (although receiving an opened preserve tub should never have happened) you are only paying for the convenience of having breakfast in your room.
Delta Hotels is fine for the hospitality it provides, and its ideal location is worth forgiving the few faux pas you might encounter throughout your stay.
