Not safe. They don’t care.
Around 3 am we heard a loud knock at the door. At first we ignored it, but after repeated knocks we got up and asked the person on the other side of the door if they needed something. The very drunk man was yelling and causing, clearly confused on which room he was going to that night.
We called the front desk to be told no one was on site and there was nothing they could do to help. The person on the phone asked me for my room number then promptly hung up on me.
We pushed furniture in front of the door and waited until it was quiet to go back to bed.
The next morning I went to talk with the front desk staff. No one was physically there.
I had to check out via a kiosk. I could not understand nor hear what the man via the kiosk was saying. After a few minutes we were able to get me checked out where he was visibly annoyed that I couldn’t understand his poor technology. I attempted to tell him what happened overnight and he just said “leave your key”.
I’m so glad I wasn’t alone and that I didn’t have children with me.
We travel a ton. I have never felt so unsafe and ignored for a real safety issue.
Will not return.
