We stayed at the Flora Batava for two nights while supporting our son with a house move, and would thoroughly recommend the experience.
The hotel is very well appointed, with a modern contemporary feel. The rooms were large and well equipped, and the breakfast selection was excellent. They coped very well with a request for gluten free bread and granola on both mornings we were there.
We very much enjoyed an excellent meal in the in-house restaurant (Restaurant Bloei) on the evening we arrived (although we remain unconvinced how their Tarte Tatin qualifies to be called that - it was very nice, but had no Tarte!).
One recommendation for future guests - the parking lot sits between the main building (which includes reception and the restaurant) and two other buildings with bedrooms in. The walking route between these buildings is quite complex, and with very soft gravel making the use of wheeled suitcases hard work - so if visiting again I would leave my luggage in my vehicle while checking in so that I only needed to take it with me to the correct building, rather than dragging it to the main building and then back across the car park to one of the side buildings.
