Tough climb up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator for two seniors dragging luggage around for an 8 day travel experience.

Our stay here was wonderful. The staff went over and beyond to help us out when one of our family members was sick. One thing I would mention is regarding breakfast options. We were directed to a sister hotel across the street that offered breakfast. We paid over $15 each for a typical hotel buffet breakfast, which was way overpriced for a continental breakfast (though there was eggs and bacon).

The first room we are assigned have very strong weed smell. the staffs changed us to another room, but the door latch is missing. we have to use a table to put infront of the door to make us feel safer at night.

The hotel is fairly modern and well kept although there is an old section that is not as nice, small, bare bones rooms, shared bathrooms in the hallway. Our room in the new section was small, barely enough room for the large bed and dresser, but clean and modern. Another member of our group had a nice very large room The biggest complaint was the room we were given, 330 was not listed on the directional sign by the elevator so it took some time for us to find our room.

Checkin experience was a nightmare for a group of 10. Our group had a variety of new and older rooms. Older rooms were very small and some do not have private restrooms. Entire group enjoyed the bar area each day with Shane who runs the bar and is great. We also took advantage of the complementary shuttle with Barrack who took our group everywhere we desired.

We were not at all happy with this stay. Most of the rooms, including ours, did not have a private bathrooms. For our floor of 15 rooms, there were only 2 shared bathrooms, quite a distance away. When we arrived at our room it was unbearably hot with no climate controls, even though it was 55º outside. We opened the window to cool down, and the next day it was too cold. The staff attendant at the registration desk was frequently absent for long periods of time and not helpful. I would not recommend this hotel.

We didn’t pay attention to the booking and we had gone online to extend our stay for our fishing trip. We noticed that our current room was with a shared bathroom. We called to change the room to private bathroom. They were very helpful. For the extended stay they were going to put us on the older side but we wld have had to check out and in again so we requested to stay in the same room. They made it happen. Shamari at the front desk was so helpful and amazing and accommodating. Room was clean , we had plenty of clean towels each day , you can walk to most of the restaurants. I wld stay here again 😁

I was put in a room that was prepared for a disabled person, wheelchair bound, and so the bed was only about 12" off the floor. The mattress was soft, so rolling out of bed and climbing to a standing position wasn't comfortable.

Cool older hotel with lots of old features. Microwave and frig in room. In room sink really made the shared baths work easily.

Oh my god send a health official there immediately. Walked into a freezing room with a wet window and carpet due to the window being left open in pouring rain, NO battery in the smoke detector, peeling paint, thin door dividing our room and the neighboring bathroom (heard ever. Single. Bolidly function. Peeling bathroom tiles, paper towel despenser was jammed and not fixed the whole stay, and the iicing on the cake, is what I'm pretty sure is MOLD growing in the SHARED bathroom. 0/10.

6/10 Good

Meh. Good enough for a night.
Basic room and the bed was fairly comfortable. Not the cleanest place in the world (used tooth flosser on the floor of the bathroom, which was obviously not swept in a while) and no air conditioning, but otherwise okay. The "historic" section is basically code for very dated. No headboard for the bed, squeaky floor in the bathroom, burned out lightbulbs in the bathroom and bedroom, could hear all the neighbors above and next door. And yes, no A/C, which I should have remembered is not always standard in the pacific northwest, so that's my mistake. The on-site restaurant is very good, although pretty pricey, and it's close to other stuff in Seward (although, pretty much everything is close to everything in Seward). It was good enough for a night, and a good $100+ cheaper than most of the other places in town. But for a longer stay, the lack of air flow would definitely be a deal breaker for me.

The beds were horrible. We did stay on the historic side of the hotel, so maybe they were from the 1940’s or 1950’s.

The building is older, has character, our room had twin beds, one was sagging, it should be replaced. It was raining so left a day early so weren't able to cancel our next day so paid for two nights, stayed one. Shared bathroom down the hall, was clean.
