Stayed here for two nights at the end of October in a single room. Was delighted to find that, although I turned up over an hour before check-in time (just intending to ask if I could store a bag), my room was ready, which was exceedingly welcome.
Room was of course very small, but perfectly fine for one person without much luggage. It was smart and clean, but a little tired and needed a bit of touching-up in places, especially in the bathroom where the too-small sink meant that there was water damage to the cabinet. Everything was clean, although the non-slip mat was stained and needed a bit of a scrub, but that was no great problem. Room was well-provided with tea, coffee, a very welcome bottle of water and biscuits, although the sink was too small to easily fill the kettle. Bed was comfortable enough, although unfortunately right under the window, so that even with the curtains closed light fell right onto your face - if you're not an early riser, I recommend a sleep mask. Overall, I was quite happy with my stay and would definitely come again. The location was great, with the Natural History Museum at the end of the road, the Science Museum, V&A, Knightbridge and the Royal Albert Hall all walkable for me (with moderately limited mobility).
