Hotellobby is spacious and nicely decorated. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Even in low season (november) an effort is being made to offer some entertainment (live music) in Elia restaurant, which is open until late. A downside is (is you must mention any), the hotel is a 15 minute walk away from an area with more restaurants and bars. That being said, the busstop is only a few minutes away.
Not much to complain about the room, it is of good size, bathroom and balcony as well. A minor inconvenience was that tv-channels were not available ('No signal' error) most of the time. Normally no problem, but with the US elections it was, like I said, a minor inconvenience.
Unfortunately I did not use the spa facilities, since I found them way too expensive for what I'm used to pay in Thailand.
A suggestion I would like to make is to offer the guest, who happens to have his/her birthday whilst staying at the hotel, a small gift. No matter what, may only be a few euro's worth, but that would make the smile after staying here even bigger.
