I have stayed at la quinta before in different cities and had always had a food experience. That was until I stayed at this location. Needles to say I will avoid staying at this hotel in the future.
We arrived very tired from a long trip, the front desk was empty. We looked around but the luggage carts were all missing. We waited a while and finally a clerk appeared. Asked the front desk about the carts they answered "we don't know we're they are". Asked if they could ask someone they said "no", they said they had called the manager about it and could do nothing else.
Once we finally got all our stuff to the elevator we noticed it was very dirty, went to our room and noticed our door lock was broken. After the encounter we had with front desk we were too tired to request another room, they apparently were not in the mood to help anyone.
The bathroom was in bad shape too. There was a hole in the floor, the paint was peeling off and the towels were very worn, small and very thin.
Don't know who the owner is of this particular franchise but they seem to want to cut too many corners.
The walls in the room were also stained and dirty.
The cleck in the breakfast area was very nice and helpful. I believe her name was Deniris.
I spoke to the morning desk clerk about all this, she just said "her night staff should know better" that was it.
So that was the last straw for me
Would love to add pictures but app won't let me at this time
