I rarely write reviews, but this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We booked two rooms and opted for the deluxe double room. Upon arrival, we were horrified to find mold covering the bathroom and walls. The smell was overwhelming, making the room completely uninhabitable—especially since I have asthma and my friend has allergies.
We immediately informed the hotel, but they refused a refund and instead offered an "upgrade" at an outrageous extra cost of 25,000 Turkish Liras for just one room. When we contacted Expedia, they were also unhelpful. The hotel eventually reduced the upgrade fee, but we still had to pay an extra 16,000 Liras for a different room, which also didn’t meet our expectations.
Beyond the severe mold issue, the hotel was extremely dirty overall. The bathroom and wardrobe were covered in dust, and the bed linen felt uncomfortable and unclean. The hotel doesn’t clean the rooms unless specifically requested, and even then, the towels smelled musty. Desperate, we asked for cleaning supplies, but they only provided bleach, saying they had no sponges.
The only decent aspect of this hotel was its location, but that didn’t make up for the terrible conditions. The staff seemed more interested in charging extra fees than ensuring a comfortable stay. Considering the high price, this hotel was a major disappointment. I would not recommend it to anyone.
