Decent hotel, nasty night desk worker
Pros: Overall the bedroom was clean, breakfast was great, and the woman who checked me in was nice, as well as the majority of the staff.
Cons: When my sister and I had first checked in, the room smelled like smoke, which we attributed it to some guys smoking outside our room in the courtyard and thought it would go away. However, after coming back from shopping 5 hours later and it still smelled, I said something to the night shift front desk person as I didn't want to get charged for smoking in the room. He was very dismissive and rude and after coming to check the room for smell, he said "It smells fine to me" and slammed the door on the way out. Also, the pool had bugs in it.
I've stayed at this hotel before and had a very positive experience, hence my decision to come back. However, after this experience, I'm rather hesitant to do so.
