Unfortunately had quite a terrible experience with this hotel. We paid for a superior room that should have been spacious with a queen bed. Instead we were given a tiny standard room with a bed barely bigger than a single, and dubious cleanliness. Upon getting the room, we immediately asked the receptionist if this was in fact the room we paid for, and were told that we had been downgraded because a technical issue caused our superior room to be double booked. The manager to whom we escalated the situation was apathetic, and categorically refused to compensate us for the difference between the superior room we booked, and the standard room we were given. He claimed they gave us a comparable room (this could not be more false, the bed couldn’t fit two pillows side by side). We subsequently proposed being refunded for the entire stay, and we would find other accommodations, this was also refused. In short, we were stuck with the small room they downgraded us to, which I would never have booked. The receptionist did her best, but was limited by her manager. Overall, very disappointed with our stay, and I would strongly advise against paying more for a superior room in this hotel. Quite unfortunate as the location is great.
