I stayed here on a weekend because all the other hotels closer to downtown were booked, and the reviews looked good. I was very happy with my stay. The room was no nonsense, clean and functional, if a but I was only there to sleep and get back on the road anyhow. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous. The restaurant was busy, so I got takeout wings at Talerico's Bar and Grill. Great wings! And the locals were super friendly. Woke up the following day and got a great coffee at the Old Crow Coffeehouse in downtown Ambridge, where I stumbled on the fabulously preserved Old Economy village, which was built in the early 1800s. Would definitely come back through!
Keep in mind that this is a working factory town, recovering from the usual rust belt issues. So as long as you're not afraid of cool looking industrial equipment and a little tarnish on the beautiful turn of the century and earlier architecture, you'll have a good stay here.
