I’m not asking for a full refund but I would like some compensation or credit for this terrible experience. This was a trip I traveled out of state for, for my birthday. The room had a window shared with a restaurant! With people in the restaurant and noise, it was extremely uncomfortable, with no privacy whatsoever. I never experienced any hotel with a shared window into a restaurant. You can see I have photos to show you because it’s unheard of. I understand a window facing a restaurant, facing a brick wall, facing anything, but not window that is physically attached and shared with a restaurant. That’s not what Hotels.com showed in photos, there was also mold in the bathroom shower. But most importantly I couldn’t sleep and never felt comfortable in the room due to the shared window into a restaurant. I had no assistance from the hotel they never answered my phone calls either. I explained that to the first representative that it’s impossible to get in touch with anyone as they do not want to assist with any issues. I would like assistance with this through hotels.com as I booked through you guys, this time and many times before. You don’t advertise a room that’s not like the photos and then tell a customer I’m sorry the hotel won’t answer us you can call them. This isn’t customer service, I would like to speak to a manager. I’m sorry but my experience was unacceptable.
