I wasn't at this large hostel very long, getting there in the evening and leaving early morning, but it was clean and very central. I was able to leave my bag in luggage room before check in.
This is a modern hostel with bright colours and a space age feel to it. I was in a mixed dorm, with the guy making sure he put me into a bottom bunk (as were the other girls in my room), even without me asking. Each bunk has a curtain, shelf, plug socket and light. There was a separate toilet and shower in the room, as well as a sink in the main part of the room.
There was no kitchen or other communal areas, instead there's a cafe bar downstairs, which has a couple of guys on guitars playing covers a few nights a week. The hostel is in the old town, where bars have to close overnight 1am. The overnight staff dealt 3 times with the same group of boys who came back very drunk, trying to bring non-guests back to their room to carry on the party. Luck of the drawer in a hostel in a party town.
