Firstly, let me say that one of the employees, Diana, was superb. She really went the extra kilometer to be helpful and make our stay good. There were countless extras she and a colleague performed, such as ironing shirts for a business meeting + the manager finding an extra lamp and table for me to work on my computer. I can't say enough good about them. On the other side, this hotel, despite being named the "Botanic Parc", was nowhere near that location. It was perhaps 20 km away from the center of the city, where we needed to be, resulting in expensive taxi rides and wasted time. Taxis were also hard to get, with 45 minute waits + many drivers did not know how to get to the location from the center of the city. (On the plus side, it's about 10 km from the airport, if all you need is a stopover. Breakfast was barely adequate and seemed to be rationed out, rather than having, say a second piece of fruit or another egg in the one-egg-omelet. The A/C was ok. Bathroom facilities were ok, except that the floor flooded from the shower. The cleanliness of the room was good. The pool was ok, except a little cold, so I didn't use it, though my colleague did. I think the rate was a bit high for the location and they need to rename the hotel to reflect its actual location, not misleading people into thinking they'll be located in a certain neighborhood with that name.
