The hotel is currently accommodating more than 80 homeless individuals due to the hurricane that impacted the area, which we understand is an extraordinary situation. However, the common areas were visibly dirty and neglected, leaving much to be desired in terms of maintenance and customer care.
Regarding our personal experience, we stayed in room 207, where the air conditioner began making such a loud noise at 12:30 a.m. that it was impossible for us to sleep. When we reported the issue to the front desk, we were informed that no maintenance staff was available, and the only solution offered was to switch rooms in the middle of the night, which was extremely inconvenient.
We believe these situations reflect a lack of preparedness and care for guests. It is important for the hotel to take steps to improve the cleanliness of the facilities and address technical issues promptly, even under exceptional circumstances like this.
