Instead, my partner was mistakenly charged £9 for a non-alcoholic wine, which was later corrected to £6 after we pointed out the error.
Service at the bar was slow, waiting 15 minutes to be served and we waited nearly an hour before our room was finally ready. When we were allowed up, the cleaner was still in the room. Given our mobility issues, and the long wait we had already endured, it would have been reasonable for staff to offer assistance with our luggage—yet no such offer was made.
The net curtain had a hole in it, there was loud noise from the adjacent ballroom until midnight. noise is understandable, no complimentary earplugs were provided. The bed was uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to sleep, and between that and the noise we got a few hours sleep. Wifi unsuable couldnt call my partners daughter which was upsetting for her.
