Double charges ; Poor customer service
My experience at this hotel was probably the worst experience with a hotel in my whole lifetime. Prior to coming to this hotel I paid for the room and taxes. I used a different card once arriving to check in and was charged double $300 for incidentals due to my 3-night stay. I spoke with the manager and she apologized with just providing a $50 credit and stated it was a computer glitch. Once checked out the hotel representative told me that there was a balance and stated since there were issues with my bill due to the double charges he needed to wait and speak with his manager. Also, he needed to charge my card and extra $163 for the last night at the hotel. I had to remind him again, I paid for the room prior to coming to this hotel. He then told me I will be contacted via email after speaking with his manager so they can review my bill again. This was Monday. Today is Wednesday and I have yet to receive a call from this hotel management or any representative. I have not received an email. After reviewing my account they went ahead and charged my card for the balance and the charge of an extra $163 is still pending. I guess this is another computer glitch! Customer service, follow-up and feedback was very poor at this hotel. I always have to reach out and inquire at no time did this hotel management reach out to me. First time in Chicago and it was truly ruined. I advise anyone coming to this hotel to check your bank account.
