Beautiful property, staff and entertainment were amazing and the food was flavorful.
The room wasn’t quite ready when we got in, the ceiling was open, the TV didn’t work and the telephone was plugged out. The in room mini bar was also not stocked. We got those sorted relatively quickly through maintenance and F&B.
The room was damp throughout the stay for some reason, the bed literally felt like you were sleeping on a wet towel and our clothes that we laid out was moist to the touch after a few hours, perhaps they were working on the air conditioner in the ceiling and wasn’t finished which is why the ceiling was open.
Several all inclusives offer complementary shuttle to and from the airport (which was 8 minutes away) when we arrived they told us at the airport they don’t do same day bookings for shuttle so we had to take a taxi, no big deal. The published rate was USD20 which is fine. On the way out, we went to the bell desk at the front and told them we were trying to get a ride to the airport, the said no problem and went and got the vehicle. When we got in, the driver asked, you have cash? We said yes, after driving off, he said it was USD25, I asked how? How was it usd20 to the resort and usd25 back. His response was “that was the hotel price”. Not a pleasant way to end the experience for guests.
Notwithstanding the above, we had A great experience, staff were pleasant and courteous, food drinks and fun was nonstop and we would definitely stay there again.
