recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in New York. While the hotel was clean and conveniently located, my experience was marred by several issues. Our check-in was delayed by 30 minutes, which was quite inconvenient. As we sat and waited for our room to be ready, I did notice that other guests that arrived shortly after I did were getting checked in faster, which was confusing. Furthermore, despite receiving a text message offering assistance, my requests for more towels and room service went unanswered. I had to go downstairs because the phone in my room to call room service was not working. Lastly, when I first arrived at the hotel, the carpet had wet spots. Again, it was a great location and a nice hotel, but service could be better.
