Upon arrival we were greeted by two very pleasant associates. We checked in. As soon as we got there, we tried to turn the air conditioning to be cooler. It was not working. One of the young ladies came to our room and tried adjusting it. We spent a very uncomfortable night the first night. I returned to the office on the morning of June 11 and complained that the room was not cooling. The second room that my son-in-law, grandchildren, and daughter were in was absolutely fine. I was told on June 11 that the housekeeping staff had reported water on the floor and our unit was not working correctly. She at that time said she would contact the manager. At that time we were given a fan and some sort of cooling unit that was dirty. At 11:30 PM the second night we were trying to cool down the room with the fans and clean the cooling unit that was provided.
The next morning we met with the manager and she was Very unpleasant. She tried to tell us that the rooms were absolutely fine and that the air conditioning is an older unit, and we are just not used to having the room as cool as we would like. I knew that she was being dishonest, because the workers the day before told us that the unit was not working and that they had called someone and they had not showed up. The second room that my son-in-law, daughter, and grandchildren were in, was absolutely fine and cooled perfectly. I feel that she rude and inconsiderate, We were moved to another room. Emailed hotel to no avail.
