Loved the large and comfortable room and the great view. I took some really fun pictures from our bedroom window! We enjoyed the pool and were happy to be in such a great location. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel was professional and friendly and spoke great English. I’d absolutely stay here again. I also appreciated that they watched our bags before we were able to check in!
My only complaints are that the room was always super hot, the comforter on the bed was too small for the actual bed, the tv has not a great channel selection and they have a dvd player in every room but don’t have dvds (who travels with dvds in 2024? entertainment options could definitely be updated), they don’t provide any coffee or water, and the elevator system using your key/entering your floor on a touch screen is bizarrely complicated and very glitchy! Basically every elevator ride ended up with confused guests in the elevator going to the wrong floor. I also found it interesting that there is a sign at the desk listing all of the things they do not do- We do NOT give umbrellas. We do NOT call taxis. Etc.- if these are things guests are asking for frequently enough to need to put out a sign saying you don’t offer these basic services… why not just start offering them? It felt strangely inflexible and a bit scoldy.
Again, I would absolutely stay here again, but I feel like there are some very basic things they could change that would turn my 4 star rating into a solid 5.
