Disappointing
Large room with comfortable bed, though mattress was on the firmer side. Plenty of storage space. More than anyone would need for a short term stay. Well equipped kitchen, though we had trouble with the oven when we tried to use it getting a heat sensor error. Good Location.
The description mentions a lounge, which is either the breakfast restaurant or the area in reception where you can sit but no food or drink is allowed. Swimming pool didn’t look like the pictures and the hot tub was unavailable and the pool closes early (8pm)
There were a lot of signs everywhere talking about what services were not available such as:
No airport transport
No umbrellas
No hot tub
No transport to shopping districts (which was advertised on the key card folder - perhaps this was seasonal)
No free water
No housekeeping at the weekend or bank holidays and No dish washing service at any time
No noise to be made - doesn’t specify a time or place. Just no noise
It’s not that we required all of these services but the sheer volume of ‘don’ts’ and ‘nos’ made it feel like we should be honoured to be let in at all and given the price, I would have liked to see some frills and services.
