For an older hotel it was very clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. The hostess was fantastic and awesome to deal with. Love the bubbly personality.

STAY AWAY
The hotel was advertised as an extended stay and had a picture online. However, the actual hotel was located down the road from the advertised address, and when searched online, the listed address appears to be a hostel. The place was old, run-down, and dirty. For $240 a night, it was a complete joke. NEVER AGAIN. I would have left without checking in if it hadn’t been so late when I arrived.

Don’t confuse this place with Extended Stay America! Not the friendliest man running the place. We were placed in an offsite location, a couple miles away. Not the cleanest place and the WiFi is unacceptable. Taxis were completely unavailable and not much within a mile. Find another location.

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed for 3 days. The room itself was wonderful with all the conveniences including a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishes and silverware. There was plenty of shampoo and soap including dish soap. The room was clean and well kept with plenty of light and outlets. I would stay here again without hesitation. That said, the rooms are located off a main street (right behind NAPA Auto Parts) but the office is about a half mile away on a side street. Not too difficult to find, however, for us landing at the airport at 11pm we had to watch closely. The office was kind of odd, perhaps there is a reason, but it mostly consisted of some counter space on a kitchen counter. There did seem to be a main office but we did not go in. Still, the staff was great and got us checked in quickly.

This hotel was still being renovated when we stayed. However, the construction workers were extremely nice and they did not start work until late morning. The room was nice and offered a kitchen and full refrigerator. We made breakfast every morning, and ate at local restaurants for lunch and dinner. The property is close to the university, but a 5-10 drive/Uber to downtown.

Charged more at check in
I booked thinking the price would be what I agreed to. I expected a room with a kitchen and full sized frig. At check in I was given the offer to pay an extra $50/nite or take a room without a frig. Because I needed the freezer, I paid the extra. I don't plan on staying there again, even tho I make several trips to Fairbanks as year
