We stayed at the cottages for 2 nights. The breakfasts were left outside each day in an esky which made the hosts unobtrusive. You need to watch the pesky kookaburras while eating on the verandah as one swooped in and stole my pastry off the plate while eating it. Cosy room and warm fire which was nice on a cool night in winter. A bbq is provided on the verandah which is great because after a busy day out and about and coming back to the cottage tired, you don't always feel like going out for dinner and we aren't huge fans of takeaway. So for us it is great to relax at the end of the day with a simple bbq and some wine. Only disappointment was while the bbq was provided there was a lack of bbq tools, bowls, containers, cutlery etc. It made cooking very difficult and we felt like we were continuously washing up with only 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 plates, 2 teaspoons, 2 coffee cups etc. for 2 nights. I would suggest it would be very inexpensive to resolve the only minor frustration on an otherwise lovely visit.
