I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The only reason we chose it was because we were in Saigon for a one-night transit stay and needed somewhere close to the airport. The hotel offered a shuttle service, but our experience was far from pleasant.
Upon arrival at the airport, the staff member who was supposed to pick us up was rude and unprofessional. We were told to wait a few minutes while he checked for other guests, but after waiting for 10 minutes, we were the only ones in the shuttle. He then escorted us to another terminal and left us there to wait for the bus. Additionally, he only helped with one small suitcase, while my 77-year-old husband was left to carry the larger suitcase. When we asked for more assistance, the staff member simply stated that he had “only two hands” and couldn’t help with the bigger piece.
Once we arrived at the hotel, the check-in staff was indifferent to our experience, showing no empathy or concern for the inconvenience we had just gone through. The hotel itself is outdated, with chipped and scratched walls, which gave it an overall neglected feel. The room was okay, but the shower had drainage issues and the water drained very slowly, which was unpleasant.
In the morning, we had a 5:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport, but when we went down to the lobby, we found no lights, no AC, and a group of about 10 guests waiting. We eventually discovered that the driver was outside, sitting on a flowerbed smoking. He was not in uniform and did no
