Our recent stay at this property was overall clean and comfortable, but several issues with customer service and maintenance made it less than ideal.
We used the pull-out bed in our room, only to find it had no sheets. When we finally received them from the front desk, we also noticed that the mattress had many dark, soiled spots, which was concerning. Additionally, the clerk was absent from the front desk for a while, delaying the process.
Our second room had air conditioning issues upon check-in. While it was eventually repaired, it added unnecessary stress to our trip, especially with a one-year-old child.
Checking out was another challenge. We couldn’t find a suitcase trolley anywhere in the hotel, even after searching floor to floor. This meant multiple trips to the vehicle, carrying our luggage and my mother’s remains, which was an emotional and physically exhausting experience.
The exterior of the property also needed attention. The parking lot was littered with toilet paper blowing in the wind, creating an unkempt impression. When I mentioned it to the staff, they simply shrugged it off.
The best part of our stay was Jim’s Restaurant next door, where we enjoyed a great family meal.
While the hotel itself is nice, the lack of attentiveness from staff and the maintenance concerns made our stay frustrating. Improved customer service and better housekeeping would greatly enhance the guest experie
